CARLOS MARTINEZ JR.
Aspiring Journalist
ABOUT ME

I am a California State University, Dominguez Hills alumni, class of 2021, with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. I have a passion for entertainment and the arts, both visual and performing, as well as social justice.
Originally majoring in Theatre Arts, I entered the world of Journalism as a reporter for Talon Marks, the student-run newspaper at Cerritos College, and CSUDH's The Bulletin. From these experiences, I knew my career ambitions moved towards the craft.
I saw the opportunity to share important stories with my community of individuals and topics that invoke change and an eloquence of new ideas.

My career aspiration is to work as an editor for a publication that shares stories of entertainment, both local and national. My curiosity and eagerness to learn new things help me uncover new aspects of my community.
